Frostbite series
Here are the results of today's race - the first in the experimental Frostbite Series.
It went incredibly well with all 3 helms having a really exhilarating race in demanding conditions. Only two (dry) capsizes by Alex & Rob with a convincing win by Alan Beeton, crewed stoically by Pete Barefield.
As we said earlier, if the other helms knew how enjoyable it was they'd have turned up in droves.
Frostbite 2 next Sunday - 1030 this time because of Prize-Giving and AGM.
Flotilla Fun for all and Phew was it hot!
Lots of fun for all on Saturday, as a gang of canoes, surfboards and sailing boats headed up river for games and a picnic.
