Prospective members are requested to complete the membership application form. We are keen to see if you have any skills such as running the bar, doing the books etc, that you might be prepared to share with us. The club has a Child Protection Policy in accordance with RYA guidelines and so the Committee would like to know of those willing to be police checked and help with the growing number of junior events held at the club.
Membership application forms are available in the clubhouse, from the Membership Secretary or from this website.
Once received you will be sent a membership pack which will include an events programme, the club’s rules and some guidelines which will help you to enjoy the club to the full, together with a boat parking sticker where appropriate.
Sailing experience is not essential as some form of training is generally available. It is also not essential to have your own boat as there is often the opportunity to crew for other members and the club owns a number of boats available for use by members. Ideally though it is hoped that most members will ultimately buy their own boat after a few years, for then the club boats can be used by other, newer members.
